Floors can often tell a story, and this brick paved road I came across in Eindhoven looked like it had certainly seen some sights. It had been patched up and fixed on more than one occasion, and whilst the replacement bricks were similar to the originals they were still slightly different in shade, making the road a beautiful and characterful patchwork – showing a story of continued use, change and transformation.
