Organised by the Crafts Council, Collect: The International Art Fair for Contemporary Objects is a celebration of cutting-edge, museum-quality craft in the UK.
The industry, which is currently profiting from a revival of interest, both in an artistic and economic sense, sees artists increasingly turning to hands-on, skilled techniques to create their art.
Now in its 14th edition, ‘Collect’ will gather 39 of the most prestigious galleries together, showcasing more than 400 artists’ work overall.
In addition, a further unveiling of work from 14 different makers, selected by special guests Jay Osgerby, the Crafts Council’s Head of Exhibitions and Collections, Annabelle Campbell and Project Curator Julia Ravenscroft, will take place from 22 to 25 February 2018.
Exhibited at the iconic Saatchi Gallery, these key pieces from innovative studio pottery to bold, large-scale installations that push material boundaries, explore pressing social and environmental themes.

Furthermore, Collect Talks will provide a three-day programme of discussions and Q&As, which will see leading international voices from the worlds of design, art, architecture and fashion explore the evolving role of craft in all sectors of society.
