Recycled Kitchen

26.01.2017

One of the world's biggest mass-manufactured flat-pack furniture companies has teamed up with one of our favourite design practices, to create the first economically and environmentally-conscious kitchen unit.

Swedish heavyweight IKEA has enlisted Swedish design studio Form Us With Love (who created the brilliant Baux acoustic panels), and together they are launching the Kungsbacka range.

Made entirely from reclaimed wood and plastic bottles, the cabinets offer an affordable design solution that utilises existing resources, whilst proving that mass production of day-to-day products can not only involve recycling but can look good too.
